Hello! I'm Melody. I'm a native PDX Business Woman, Top-Portland Stylist, and Founder of L&M Hair Studio, L&M Hair Lounge, and a signature line of hair products.
My inspiration behind the Textured Hair Academy came from wanting to fix the gap in the beauty industry when it came to education and opportunities for textured hair stylists.
My mission is simple: to empower aspiring stylists to turn their passion into a profession, paving the way for success in the beauty industry and in their financial lives.

What change can this program really offer me?
More than just a career change, it offers a life change. Freedom from financial worry, the pride of owning your success, and a fresh start!
How many classes are there in this program?
There are 13-weeks in this program and each week consists of 3-classes a week. Classes are three hours (Option of extensions course will extend for an additional 4-weeks).
Can I make payments?
Yes! The program requires a $500 deposit to join and then you're able to make payments weekly, bi-weekly or monthly for13-weeks.
What if I can't make a class?
We understand that life happens! Students are allowed three absences throughout the 13-week course. Regular attendance is essential for your success in the program to graduate.
What if I want to cancel?
Due to the live-training aspect, we aren't able to give cancellation refunds. However, if The Textured Hair program finds it applicable, your enrollment can be deferred to the next available cohort.

The program is a $4000 total investment which includes licensing, potential job placement and a built-in network. However- there are also individual price costs- chat with us!
